The FutureGPT x Flipkart Meetup brought together technology professionals to discuss how Artificial Intelligence is influencing different aspects of business and technology. One of the recurring themes during the discussion was that organizations are eager to leverage AI but remain cautious about introducing it into security-critical processes. That is a sensible approach.
In my experience, AI should complement sound security practices rather than replace them. Better decisions still depend on well-governed identity data, clearly defined processes and effective human oversight. AI can significantly improve the speed and quality of decision-making, but governance remains the foundation on which successful adoption is built.
As organizations continue to modernize their identity ecosystems, the conversation is gradually shifting from simply managing access to making access decisions that are more intelligent, contextual and risk-aware. I believe this is where AI can deliver meaningful business value while strengthening enterprise security.
Speaking at the FutureGPT x Flipkart Meetup provided an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas with professionals exploring the practical application of AI.
